Coal Camp 2026 Carnival: A Vibrant Celebration of Culture and Governance

The city of Enugu was transformed into a sea of joy and celebration on April 5, 2026, as the Coal Camp Carnival took over the streets. With a theme of "Tomorrow is Here," the event brought together over 400,000 people to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Coal Camp community and show appreciation for the administration of Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah.

The carnival was a spectacular display of dance, music, masquerade performances, and cultural exhibitions, with participants showcasing their support for the governor's leadership. The event, sponsored by Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, was a testament to the strong bond between the Coal Camp community and Governor Mbah's government.

In his address, Dr. Onoh commended the unity among Coal Camp residents and reaffirmed the government's commitment to delivering good governance. He noted that the carnival theme was a nod to Governor Mbah's transformative impact on the community, citing the numerous infrastructure projects underway.

The event was a clear indication of the governor's popularity, with attendees from across Enugu converging to show their support.
