A grieving family is seeking answers following the tragic death of William Fubara, a 100-level student at Madonna University, Okija. His family alleges that he passed away following a severe assault by fellow students.
According to the family, the altercation was sparked by bullying regarding allegations of the victim being "effeminate." They report that after the incident, Fubara’s condition deteriorated significantly.
A video shared by the family highlights the harrowing final days before his passing. The footage captures the heart-wrenching moments the student’s parents had to navigate, noting that they were contacted by the school after Fubara began experiencing multiple seizure episodes while on campus.
"The school called because my son experienced multiple seizure episodes during the day," his parent recounted in the video. "After I picked him up, he continued to have seizure clusters, and he was later hospitalized in the ICU."
Despite medical intervention in the Intensive Care Unit, the student ultimately passed away. The incident has sparked widespread concern and raised serious questions regarding student safety and bullying within educational institutions.
Also note that these allegations have not been officially confirmed by Madonna University, and the school has yet to issue a formal statement regarding the specific circumstances surrounding the student's death.
