Exclusive Interview With Playboy


 

My name is Olufemi Olawale Ogundayomi, my stage name is 'Playboy' and this is the name I love to call myself from the start because that is how I see myself.

 I always love to put smile in people's face with music. I don't have money to give out but I have words to share to those who care to listen. I have been doing this from church, school competitions and street challenge. I love music for fun.


• Describe your family members musical interest and abilities.


 Well my family loves music but nobody was into music until I was born and I discovered the talent in me, my Dad loves music a lot but he dislikes the kind of life some artist lives.\


• Which Famous musician do you admire?


 I admire wizkid because he is from here and he is doing it great there ,You know what I mean.


• Have you been in any musical competition and have you won any musical award?


Yea yea I have been in a lot of musical competition when i entered the higher institution.

I won awards during my ND in school SLIC: Best rapper 2016, SLIC 2: Best rapper 2017, Holyboy:,2017,Busadmin: 2017. Music is not competition we all have different style in singing or raping but we do one music.


• How do you handle mistakes during a performance?


 I believe that mistakes are meant to be, I move on and correct it asap.


Do yo have any project at hand?


Yeah am dropping three songs together and a viral video for one soon. I still have a lot of project at hand, I just released Amin last two weeks.


• Your collaboration with Junior Boi in your song Mapamilekun was a hit, what do you have to say on that?


Glory be to God Almighty, the song is just a normal freestyle, but as God may want it. It was a hit.


• Do you write your lyrics?


 Yes I write but for now I have not recorded the songs I wrote.


• How do you balance Music with other obligation and is there any artist you are planning to feature?


 I have a lot of thing s under the blanket, I pray God sees us through. Is always stressful doing two things together but i believe that I just drive while God leads, so my time is safe.


• What's your favourite Quote?


When preparation meets opportunity, success is certain.
