T he National Association of Nigerian Students has praised the management of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun State for running the federal student loan scheme with honesty and openness. The commendation came on Thursday when top officials of NANS, led by Secretary General Comrade Oladimeji Uthman, visited the polytechnic. They were received by the Students’ Union President, Comrade Khalifah, other union leaders, and the Rector, Dr. M.A. Onasanya. During talks with school management, NANS said it discussed key issues affecting students including welfare, security, learning conditions and overall growth of the institution. A major highlight was the loan programme. NANS noted that Abraham Adesanya Poly was not named among schools accused of diverting money from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND.
