Cristiano Ronaldo And Georgina Rodriguez Tie The Knot In Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are officially married. The Portugal captain and his longtime partner held a private civil ceremony in Cascais on Tuesday. The coastal town just outside Lisbon hosted the small event, with the couple’s five children in attendance.

Ronaldo, 41, confirmed the news to fans on Instagram by sharing a photo of their wedding rings. The announcement came only days before he is due to return to Al Nassr for the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season.

The two first met in 2016 in Madrid, where Rodriguez was working at a high-end fashion store. Over the last decade their relationship has played out in public. They have appeared together at major award shows and football finals, built a family, and supported each other through personal highs and lows.

On the pitch, Ronaldo remains one of the game’s biggest names. He came through Sporting CP, became a star at Manchester United, made history at Real Madrid, won titles with Juventus, and now plays in Saudi Arabia for Al Nassr. He has scored close to 1,000 career goals and featured in six World Cups a record he shares with Lionel Messi.

Earlier this summer he said the 2026 World Cup would likely be his last for Portugal, but added he would not rush any decision about retiring from international football. “I gave everything. Now it’s time to reflect and be with my family,” he said then.

Off the pitch, Rodriguez has grown her own brand as a model, entrepreneur and TV personality.

Ronaldo will now link up with Al Nassr and new manager Ange Postecoglou. He will be 43 by the time Euro 2028 in the UK and Ireland takes place. After nearly 10 years together, Ronaldo and Rodriguez have made it official.
